Down On The Farm
03:34
|
|||
Living a life of latency
But there’s no connection lacking see
The seeds we’ll sow
We’ll grow our own
Calloused hands, to work the land.
As things twist and grow around them
They stop and wonder at the din
At this world that they left in alarm
Now they are spending their days
Down on the farm
Breaking out of that idyllic daydream
Where the pastures are as green
as what they seem on the other side
Now jump on my hog we’re off to split some logs
Down on the farm
As things twist and grow around them
They stop and wonder at the din
At this world that they left in alarm
Now they are spending their days
Down on the farm

Warren
03:03
|
|||
Furrowed brow, forehead is steep
They just don’t know, don’t know
What you have seen
Burrows
Tunnels Unseen
They just want to get back to sleep
Warmed by the thought of safety
Warren
In which bunnies creep
Their silent movements in the deep
In the deep
It’s cute that these pests we keep
Blow their fucking skulls apiece
But will it help you find your peace

Hog Wild
05:20
|
|||
It is time to mount your steed
‘Coz you’ve the need for speed
But not of the amphetamine variety
And it’s got you squealing for a stuck piggy
And the doctors they are prescribing
For the symptoms of
Hog Wild
Uhhh the test results are in
Everyone is just as you expected
Definitely against you try taking two of these per day my friend
It seems that you’ve gone hog wild
Because the grunting is just one thing
You’ve gotta do what makes you sing inside your helmet
‘Coz the need for pain is such a natural thing
And it’s got you squealing back for that sting and
The doctors they are prescribing for the symptoms of
Hog Wild
Give us the hog, and nothing but the whole hog
You thought Easy C was bogged for a snog
But this little piggy seems to have taken the whole cake

This young horse
Fed no remorse
His trainers they’ve strained his nerves
He’s lining up at the gates
The darkest fate lies awaiting
The dignity they’ve stripped from him
Removing him from his kindred
His calves they shake
Soon the earth will quake with his wrath
Our subject neigh’s for enhanced hay
Building muscle for freedoms hustle
He is whipped from the rear
And aims a kick to clear his sphere
Of personal space
“He’s killed that child that horse is wild”
Scream the parents of the deceased stablehand
Another ignorant young man
Death’s caress beckons our subject
With iron and fire
A true shotgun ending
He’s a horse to be reckoned with

Ant Agony
02:42
|
|||
The ants go marching one by one
A soldier stops to cock their gun
Which is levelled at the crumbs
For which they’ve come
And the proles fulfil their roles
Carrying the loot back home
Too too too too too too
The ants go marching two by two
Haunted by the thoughts of those they slew
But for what?
Survival of the colony
But secretly they love their queen
Who only serves to propagate
Divisions and hate
The ants go marching three by three
They’re off to climb another tree
Coz they’ve found harmony among themselves
Peace prosperity
There’s enough for all to eat
They’ve risen above their ant agony

Dam Eels
03:24
|
|||
Death by dam of eels for the infiltrators
I'll be damned if you'll invade my oasis
My escape from the heat, when the breakdown comes
In seven to nine years when things begin to rot
I'll be hot to trot 'coz my mind is sharp
And so is my knife
Sitting on my front porch
Nobody passes by anymore
Frightened of my slippery ones with poison blood
My dam eels
With little to feed on our symbiotic bond
Grows strong
With community comes life but
But death for some
In our new tight knit crews
We'll stave off the blues
True progression in regression
Sitting on my front porch
Nobody passes by anymore
Rising acidity has driven me
Beyond relief
And the only retreat
From grief
Sitting on my front porch
Nobody passes by anymore
Lucky I have got my dam of eels for company
They are all I need

This house
More than four walls
Four more for the falling down
I’ve got my organs spilling out all over the lounge
Too many things for the scantily clad rat inhabitants to scrounge
Rat sacks under my pillow case
Just in case
They nibble at my face
Coz they’re biting and they’re scratching and owh
So one of these little scantily clad rat inhabitants
Has the audacity
To crawl out from underneath my bed
Where there’s a gap in the floor and the wall
And play its claratinet right in my
Rat sacks under my pillow case
Just in case
They nibble at my face
Ooh they are biting and scratching
Those scantily clad rat inhabitants

Water Off A Ducks Back
06:12
|
|||
Refer to me as you please
Coz lately i’ve been
Tested and re-assessed as
A human being
But it flows
Like water off a ducks back
Thick skin it cracks
But you can’t apply moisturiser to a cracked foundation of mental wellbeing
You must understand there is no such thing as an all seeing eye
But you can try to fix the cracks with transient moulds
Instabilities you shall behold
Rain on the avian parade
Quackers unphased
But what is really killing
Is giving no fucks
About our duck friends
Feeding them bread
Even though you know it’s not good for them
But you can’t apply moisturiser to a cracked foundation of mental wellbeing
You must understand there is no such thing as an all seeing eye
But you can try to fix the cracks with transient moulds
Instabilities you shall behold

Whatever happened to sacred efficiency?
The machine it seems must decrease it’s momentum
And momentous will be the grand idling
That takes the place of an all encompassing, ever expanding sense of pace
So call off the rat rats
I must seek refuge in the humble art
Of herding the most dysfunctional of felidae
The domestic puss
In a rodeo for ages
It’s like rounding up a bunch of kitty cats
And those felines
ain’t got me feeling
So damn fine
I just want to be on time
But not a priority is that
For a kitty cat such as that
Did you hear the pitter-patter of that kitty-catter?
Slowly slowly it treads your thin tin roof as you wonder
Why-oh-why it let those rat inhabitants get so out of control in the first place
And leaving such a potential for pestilence in its wake
So it goes the space between you and your companions grows
Perhaps it is time to leave the confines of the corral
And embrace a new pace
Somewhere far away from the scent of decay
Where one might lead a peaceful life
Of quiet strife
It’s like rounding up a bunch of kitty cats
And those felines
ain’t got me feeling
So damn fine
I just want to be on time
But not a priority is that
For a kitty cat
such as that
